Fred Davy, a native Washingtonian and an alumnus of the District of Columbia Public School system, currently manages the Friendship Collegiate SmartLab. After graduating from Calvin Coolidge High School, Mr. Davy received a full athletic scholarship to play college basketball and completed his B.S. in education from Boston University and a Master’s in Education from The Johns Hopkins University. He has certified coaching experience on the middle school and high school level. Golf has been a hobby for Mr. Davy since the age of 10. This is his first experience in initiating and sponsoring a high school golf program in partnership with the First Tee Program of Greater Washington.
